Minneapolis, MN –  Rising recording artist, songwriter, and performer TR3VON is set to make waves in the music industry with the announcement of his upcoming EP titled “PHOENIX,” dropping May 30th, and the release of his newest single, “Wake Up The Night.”

Born on September 26th in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in a single-parent household, Tr3von’s early life was marked by struggle—but also by strength, passion, and purpose. From a young age, he showcased natural talent through singing and dancing at family events, a spark that would soon ignite into a full-blown career in entertainment.

After relocating to Minneapolis at age 10, Tr3von joined the Metropolitan Boys Choir, performing at acclaimed venues such as Orchestra Hall. He continued to cultivate his craft through professional training at the John Robert Powers Performing Arts School, developing his skills in songwriting and performance.

In 2011, Tr3von made his acting debut in The Devil Didn’t Raise Me, playing the role of “Deacon”—a performance that received standing ovations and emotional praise from audiences. He later starred in You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone, touring major cities including Minneapolis, Denver, and Chicago, with fans as far as Mississippi and Nebraska.

Tr3von’s musical journey took a significant leap when he became a member of the 3x Grammy Award-winning ensemble Sounds of Blackness, performing in their holiday production ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas’ at the Guthrie Theater.

A New Era: The “PHOENIX” EP

Slated for release on May 30th, Tr3von’s new EP “PHOENIX” is a deeply personal body of work that explores healing, resilience, and transformation.

“This project is about rising from pain, loss, and heartbreak,” Tr3von says. “Creating it helped me process everything I’ve been through. Every song is a piece of my journey.”

The project introduces a newly refined sound, shaped in collaboration with a fresh producer who has helped elevate Tr3von’s signature blend of mainstream Pop with R&B/Soul influences.

New Single: “Wake Up The Night” – OUT NOW

In anticipation of the EP, Tr3von has released “Wake Up The Night,” an infectious, high-energy anthem that brings feel-good vibes and powerful momentum to any moment.

“It’s meant to lift your spirit, get you moving, and spark joy,” he explains. “It’s more than a song—it’s an experience.”

The single is available now on all major streaming platforms.

On Building an Authentic Career

While Tr3von isn’t focused on chasing big-name collaborations just yet, he’s dedicated to building real, intentional relationships with fellow independent creatives.
